How to copy iPod to new computer

I recently reformated my computer and so all songs and videos have been deleted. I want to know if there is any way I can copy the songs and videos from my iPod mini to my new computer? if that cant be done then can i sync my ipod without loosing the songs in it? and please tell me the settings i should make in itunes for doing this. need help urgently. thanks

Computer with Windows Vista, 2003 or XP OS.

Download the iPod to computer transfer and install it to PC.
